The reeds are home to many species such as the reed warbler, a visitor from Africa which breeds here in the summer. Though peaceful seeming, the gentle rustle of the reeds in the wind belies a hive of activity. This small area of dry land amongst the reeds offers sanctuary to many species. But whilst it may appear safe, what else might be attracted to this area?
